A safe space for artists for artists of abilities to explore self-expression healing and empowerment.
Gabrielle has over a decade of experience teaching fine art, yoga and feminine empowerment. Her original curriculum combines artistic technique, meditation and healing for a transformational, creative experience.
FAQs:
Q: Do we take our clothes off during the Yoni painting workshop?
A: No- I love the idea of everyone painting with mirrors in between their legs...but that’s not how these workshops work.
Participants are encouraged to paint from a photo (I call it a Yoni selfie) that you take prior to the workshop. You don't have to show your photo to anyone, and you can delete it when your done. The benefits of working from a photo are:⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can paint more easily on a table top when you aren't holding a mirror between your legs
More privacy and less distraction
It's funny being in a room of women all looking at their yonis on their phones ⠀⠀
Q: Is it ok if I have zero art experience?
A: Absolutely! I will walk you through all the steps of the process, and provide all the necessary materials.
No experience is necessary, and you will be given instruction that meets you where you're at. Also- I feel very strongly the no one should be judged about their artistic abilities- EVER. We are all natural born artists who should be encouraged. I try my best to create a space where you will feel comfortable playing with paints and having fun- no matter what your painting looks like in the end.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Q: Do I have to paint my own Yoni?
A: No- You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.
All the workshop activities are optional. If you don't want to paint your Yoni (from a photograph) then you can paint an imaginary Yoni, or paint an image from my book of tasteful, fine art photos of Yonis...or paint something else altogether!
Q: Is it weird if I bring a friend?
A: Yoniflower painting can be a wonderfully fun thing to do with a buddy.
There is plenty of time for giggling and sharing if you want to, but also space to go inward for those who need it. If you are coming with a friend, I suggest you talk ahead of time about how much privacy and "alone time" you both want during the workshop. There will be moments when I invite optional sharing in the circle, and moments when I encourage private, solitary reflection and meditation. Having a friend to process the workshop with afterwards could be a really nice thing.
Q: Can I bring a workshop to my event even if I don’t’ have an art studio?
A: Gabrielle can tailor the Yoniflower worksop to meet the needs of your unique space and community.
She has led this ritual in yoga studios, private homes, and community centers. For more information about booking a Yoniflower workshop, please contact:
